Dragon KOI Project Day 53 of 365: REBUILD YOUR CORE: Maybe some of you saw the video I put together earlier in the Dragon KOI Project on Emilee Garfield. She is a total inspiration to me an emulates what inspiration to me. I wanted to congratulate her on her article in Pilates Style Magazine and thank Bambi and Matthew Abernathy for spotlighting her story. It is one that needs to be out there. The interesting thing about Emilee, her Pilates Style article and really most of us is that we all have a core that needs rebuilding. What makes up our core? From a Pilates sense we talk a lot about neuromuscular reorganization and becoming functionally strong. Over the past few years, it's become more and more real and critical that we all look at what is at our core physically, emotionally, spiritually and work on rebuilding it on an ongoing basis. This can be with the relationship with ourselves, as well as with those who are in our lives. Finding balance and strength in ourselves and being sure that we allow those around us that are assisting in our building and not tearing it down is vital.
Thanks Emilee for being such an awesome and inspiring person. Keep rebuilding. You make others want to do the same.
